On Belay! – 2018 Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show
Dream big! Ignite your passion for the outdoors at the 2018 Outdoor Adventure and Travel Show. BC’s largest showcase of outdoor gear and adventure travel experiences comes to the Vancouver Convention Centre, March 3rd and 4th. Whether you are a paddling enthusiast, a scuba diver, a nature photographer, a hardy road cyclist or someone seeking an adventure travel destination, the Outdoor Show is guaranteed to capture your imagination.
Personally, when attending the show, I always feel like a youngster in a candy store. Arriving wide-eyed, with my adventure wish list in hand, I find myself drawn to Paddler’s Paradise and the White Water Demo Pool. Here paddling experts share tips, tricks and gear recommendations. Of course, the action doesn’t stop there. Daily, on the Best of Canada Adventures Stage, seasoned adventure travellers share their stories and expertise.
For those wanting to expand their horizons, a visit to the International Adventure Theatre is in order. From India to Africa, and Europe to Antarctica, speakers, will delight you with their dynamic presentations featuring exotic and far-off lands. Basically, you can travel the world without leaving the exhibit hall.
Perhaps you might want to see the world from the seat of a bike? You are covered! Kick off the 2018 riding season with a visit to the Vancouver Bike Show, Western Canada’s largest cycling show, running in conjunction with the Outdoor Show. Meet with highly knowledgeable brand representatives and test your next ride on the Outdoor Demo Track.
Guaranteed, by the time you leave the Convention Centre, your bucket list will be long, you will be ready to upgrade your gear, and your thirst for adventure will have primed! With talks, gear demos, and expedition advice you will find yourself climbing the thirty foot Rock Wall before you can say, “on belay!”
